The Caring Together Art Journal Project. A big part of my lived experience has been as a carer. It is the hardest thing I have ever done – but it also helped me find a strength I never expected. One of the hardest things about being a carer is how it can make you feel so alone and unable to communicate or understand what is happening. You can easily become overwhelmed and forget that you need to look after yourself as well as others. Welcome, we care. Learning not to be “a fixer”. Pay it Forward – ...

Mental health carers as partners in recovery - Caring Together Art Journal Project

Sites for young people. Questions carers can ask. Mental illness does not play fair. It sucks hope out of the air and turns people against each other. It attacks everyone who might be able to take its power away – consumers, carers, families, friends and practitioners too. Mental illness is felt by all of us, and the only way we can beat it is together. We need to strengthen and support one other and work. The project aims to answer these questions:.
