The Dr. told us that because Chase is asthmatic, he should be seen by a Dr. every 3-6 months. We should get an updated asthma action plan at every appointment. The Dr. should not be putting in automatic refills for any medication. We should be getting 1-2 inhalers at a time and then after seeing him again, he would get more medication. Our morning started out with a breakfast in bed of cold cereal - yum! Then, Tom's best friend Josh came up from Tucson to visit for the day. We went to a store called Fry's Electronics where Josh let Thomas pick out a present. He chose a game called Overlord II. After that Josh took us out to eat for second-breakfast at a Waffle House. Saturday, April 11, 2015. The Sunday before Easter I tried, I really tried to get Easter pictures, it was a partial success. The boys looked so adorable I only wish I got pictures that really did them justice. It was dark and cloudy and we had a very short window of happiness. Easter Conference weekend was wonderful. Johnny is old enough to understand when we teach him how an important and sacred holiday Easter is. We had real quality family time and made some great memories. A pilot is always ready.

Carolina on my mind. June 17, 2014. A Swap Shop Weekend. This past weekend I was part of something great. Over the past few weeks, I worked with the HopeMatch team planning and organizing a Community Swap Shop. This was our first time doing an event like this, so of course it had its hiccups, but all in all I think it turned out great! Tired and sore after a long two days, I couldn't have asked for a better weekend with an even better group of volunteers and friends who helped selflessly.

Tippets Family New Years Resolutions 2014. 1 Spiritual- Read our scriptures over breakfast instead of at bedtime. Because I work 3-5 nights a week I miss family scripture study and that just isn't acceptable anymore. I think I'm gonna make some cheesy sign like "A scripture a day keeps satan at bay" to post on the fridge as a reminder for the more forgetful members of the family. 2 Physical- Less processed snacks.
