Glen and Carla in Singapore. September 9, 2008. We got some very good news this morning with a call from the Australian High Commission telling us that Carla’s visa has been approved. So its official that the two of us are coming back for a visit next week! Carla is very excited about the prospect of coming to Australia and getting to meet all of my family and friends although she is a bit aprehensive about the prospect of 10-20 degree temperatures. This will be something new to her. September 8, 2008.

Carla and I stumbled across this little Beer Bar called the Quoka Bar in Phuket which portrayed itself as an Aussie bar (you just need to hang up an Australian Flag to be an Aussie Bar in most places in Phuket). Glen and Carla in Singapore. June 7, 2008. Lachlan played in his first Rugby competition today. It was a round-robin concept consisting of 4 x 10 min games. They won the first game 3-2 and the second game finished 3-3. In true Singapore fashion the heavens opened up during the second game and while they battled through the torrential rain for a while, when the lightning started they abandoned the day. Glen and Carla in Singapore. July 26, 2008. We were also introduced to another beautiful place in Phuket by our friend David called Paradise Beach. This place is truly well named! Paradise Beach - Nearing sunset. Anyway once there you work out why it got its name.
