MQW Grade 3 McIsaac. Wednesday, 26 October 2016. Wow October is almost over! Time is sure flying. We have started place value in math (up to 1000.) This includes money and counting money. When you get a chance or if you're in the store have your child count out the coins. Some students are having some difficulty with counting coins so it's something they could be working on- here are a few interactive sites that they can visit to do some practice. MQW Grade 3 McIsaac. Wednesday, 7 December 2016. Christmas is coming fast! It would be great if Santa could bring students some new pencils! It seems we are running very low. Not sure if his elves are making any this year. After this week there will no more homework until after the holidays. So it would be great if I can have all baggie books and orange folders back by Friday. Most students have their concert tickets but there are a few who never got any yet. I'll hold them on for another day or two.

MQW Grade 3 McIsaac. Sunday, 22 January 2017. January is almost over and that means term 2 reports will be going home sooner than later. I'll be taking students aside to listen to them read to see if their reading levels have changed in the coming weeks. Most weeks I send home a baggie with a homework duotang (usually a math sheet) and a book. Please ensure it comes back at the end of the week (baggie included). Thanks.
