Sunday, October 2, 2011. Believe it or not, I have managed to sneak in a little sewing this summer. Not much I'll admit, but some. Here's what I've made (so far):. I decided to show this totebag first because I knew if I didn't sell it fast I'd keep it! Well, turns out my friend Kathy loved it too and snatched it up before it made it on the website (thank you Kathy! I love the kiwi green, black and white combo. This one did make on to the website, so check it out here. I love this cute little purse!

Wednesday, September 12, 2012. Great diaper bag and lessons learned. I've finished my favorite project ever - an awesome diaper bag for my friend Nancy's daughter-in-law. Chasity chose her own fabric and the Multi-Tasking Tote design, she has great taste. I love the colors and textures. She picked a design her husband would willingly carry - he's a man's man type and pink just wouldn't fly (I swear he's 8' tall, which is killing me cause I've know him since he was a kid). Here it is. The Polka Dot Closet.

Thursday, September 9, 2010. Since my life and Carla's Creations is about to head in a whole new direction, I decided to start a new (and hopefully much easier) blog. We'll see how this goes. I'll have to post before and after pics so you can watch the progress, I'm excited! Needless to say, Carla's Creations is on a short break while I move into the new space. I enjoy making a cake that many have yet to experience. I make cakes for anniversaries, graduations, birthdays (1st ones are really fun), and my favorite, the wedding cakes, as they play such a special part of a couple starting their lives together and have been known to keep the guest's talking about for days! Wednesday, October 22, 2014. I can't believe it's been a year since I launched my Natural Skincare line? Seems like it's only been a couple of months, I can't even tell you where the time has gone. I've been thinking about where I was when I started and where I am now, it's been a crazy year! November 2013 we did two Christmas craft shows.
