Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Inspiring day turned upside down. Just when I think I am getting a hang of the life here in Uganda, the ‘pearl of Africa’ takes me by surprise, once again. I’ve been watching the Ugandan news (whenever there was power) and flipping through newspapers throughout the past 2 months that I’ve been here, with a growing sense of uncertainty about this world we live in. With a history full of war, corruption, and instability, I now don’t know why I doubted that Uganda could be next.

A whole lot of bragging about our cute girls. This is how I found Lucy the other day. What can I say she takes after her mom! Isn't she so dang cute? I can not get enough of her. Carlee is officially DONE with Kindergarten. They had an end of the school year picnic out at Mattey's Garden (a little garden next to the school the kids help take care of).
