Andrew's Carleton Experience

Monday, May 25, 2009. The Beginning of the End. This past weekend was spent at Fort Drum, NY for a 400 person international airsoft. Game on the United States' Memorial Weekend. It was not a usual airsoft. Game either, it was an 18 hour Military Simulation on a US Army Base using their training facilities and eating their rations. Doing combat convoy training maneuvers in the facility, they drove in with their massive humvees. All in all it was a fun weekend, and well worth the 2hr drive down.which w...

Andrew's Carleton Experience: March 2009

http://carletonexperience.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html

Thursday, March 19, 2009. St Patty's Day, and Ottawa Flickr Meet. St Patrick's Day morning, we had these girls behind our house in the nearby parking lot, perhaps pre-drinking for the long night ahead. They had some speakers and music going for the whole time they were there. And some ground chili peppers. I had my last Guinness, since it's Irish and it was St. Patrick's Day.and because it's been in my mini-fridge since my Birthday. That's all for now, I'll try to get some pictures of my dessert up soon.

Andrew's Carleton Experience: February 2009

http://carletonexperience.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html

Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Just finished my spring break last week, stayed in Ottawa, here are some pics :). Spike sleeping, or trying to sleep while I take 60 pictures of her. New shelves on the right, with my bed going the width of my room. Karl and I went to Ikea to get some shelves, I still have two more I need to put up on the wall. They were decent price $5-7, and are very sturdy. More space for my books, and the bottom shelf gives me a good place to charge all of my electronics. Another new add...

Andrew's Carleton Experience: September 2008

http://carletonexperience.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html

Sunday, September 21, 2008. Does anyone want to see my ID? Finally, after years of hard work.I'm officially 19 years old! An amazing feat, I know, but true nonetheless. The day began at 12am, with a toast to myself with Alexander Keith's in my left hand, camera in my right hand. I slugged back the bottle of liquid courage, felt the brisk, coolness of it wash through my mouth.intoxicating freedom. And waiting for Chris to pick me up to go have a birthday supper and watch a movie. Cheers (legally now),.

http://carletonexperience.blogspot.com/2009/01/surprise.html

Saturday, January 24, 2009. It's very late, so I'm just going to post pictures from Chris' surprise party on Friday Night. He thought that we had all forgotten his birthday! Hey Andrew, thanks for posting. Looks like he had a great surprise and lots of good food. Glad you could be there too. January 24, 2009 at 10:32 AM. He was very surprised, and said that he didn't suspect anything :). January 24, 2009 at 4:56 PM. That's nice. I'm glad you surprised him! January 26, 2009 at 7:48 PM.

Carleton Ethics Bowl Team | Ethical inquiry and debate.

Carleton Ethics Bowl Team. Ethical inquiry and debate. December 1, 2013. Imposing a law that made it illegal for someone to knowingly expose the HIV virus to another person is wrong. Not only would such a law deprive many people of their humanity, but it would be hugely ineffective. HIV/AIDS affects primarily the community of impoverished, gay, African American men. Gay men account for only 4% of the male population, but nearly 80% of men infected with HIV are gay. It is not because HIV/AIDS was created ...
