Welcome to Carlisle Masters web site. Carlisle Masters started life back in 1996 and amalgamated with Carlisle Water Polo and City of Carlisle to create Carlisle Aquatics. On 1 January 2012. While we continue to go from strength to strength, encouraging the three tenets of Masters swimming: Fitness, Friendship and Fun, we try to strike a balance between swimming to compete with swimming for fitness and attempt to have fun in doing so. Carlisle Mountaineering Club Ltd. Carlisle Mountaineering Club Ltd is a long established club, close to the English Lake District. We have regular evening and weekend meets throughout the year including summer and winter climbing. Although we are based in Carlisle, we have members throughout Cumbria and beyond. The club currently has over 100 members, from a wide range of backgrounds and ages, some of whom climb hard and some less so! You can generally find someone who wants to climb at your grade.
