We decided to not take our whole family to the East Coast because Grandma Stephens (aka: Super Woman) said she would be happy to watch the three youngest while we went. The kids lived outside. Monday, July 29, 2013. Harper's end of school festivities. Harper attended a fantastic (and free! Preschool program this year through LAUSD. She went to class for 2 hours and 20 minutes four times a week. She loved it. Harper and Jonah before preschool graduation. Here is a video of the kids walking in. And one of them singing. Thursday, June 6, 2013. Evan's Aunt and Uncle own a second house in St. George and were nice enough to let us, all of us, stay there over Easter weekend this year. Their backyard is tons of fun. The kids spent many hours outside enjoying the warm weather. Riding down the hill in the backyard was Rhys and Truitt's favorite thing to do. Right behind the house is the Virgin River. It was really shallow this time so the kids spent time down there playing in the water and building dams also. Holding up a rock.

Friday, December 14, 2012. We have a Christmas tree lot about three blocks from our house where we have gotten our tree for the last couple years. We walk by the lot several times a week, so they kids were very impatient about going to get a tree. We don't have a ton of room to put a tree and the lot was mostly out of the smaller trees, but we found one that didn't totally overwhelm the living room. Jonah waiting for the tree to be ready. Tuesday, April 09, 2013. The week before Easter several wards in our stake had an Easter egg hunt at the ball field behind our chapel. Since it is a ball field, there are not many place to actually hide the eggs, so the egg hunting took approximately 3 minutes. It was still fun though. Especially the eating candy part. Friday, September 28, 2012. Harper asked Erica if she could wear pretty clothes and walk around the mall when she becomes a teenager. Harper also informed us that when she's 15 we will be calling her Grace Jackman. Grace of course is her middle name. Yes, she said 15. We have failed as parents. The world is already drowning us out. Friday, January 18, 2013. After a long, long drive from LA, which included an overnight stop in Vegas, we made it to my Mom's house. It was a very cold and snowy. The kids were very excited to open more presents. Jonah wore his normal breakfast attire (PJ shirt and a diaper) and added his new Batman boots to the ensemble. We rode a carousel.
