Some of my baseball Mom's may get upset with me, but today I am so thankful for cold rain. Rain, rain, and more rain that delayed the baseball tournament. Jacob got his cast off with hopes of playing but now he is fighting off sniffles and a sore throat so a delayed tournament gives lots of time for chicken noodle soup, sleep and healing. In a Galaxy far, far away.

This weekend both boys surprised me by wanting to post on the blog. Jacob got things started after he spent an afternoon building with Lego's. He has so much imagination - he doesn't just build, he creates entire universes filled with action and adventure. Every piece is part of the story and has so much detail behind. Links to this post. A couple of weeks ago God gave Joy and Chris the name for this baby, Zoe, which means life. How exciting this morning as the news came in. Apgar score of 8-9. Baby does not need to be on oxygen. Baby tested negative for drug exposure. Head full of beautiful dark hair. Ronald McDonald House in the vicinity that Joy can base out of. Relatives traveling to help Chris with the girls while Joy is gone.

Thursday, July 24, 2008. Emily and Ethan just finished the 2008 swim season with the Holly Park Sharks. It was Emily's 4th season to swim and Ethan's 3rd. Monday, March 14, 2011. So it is very late and I can't sleep.it has been this way for a long time. So our life is changing.we are buying a town home.we close on Friday the 18th.I can't believe it.I'm not sure I'm excited.I just don't know what I feel.Some friends are coming over Monday morning to help pack some boxes. I want to be excited, to be looking forward to the future and the journey we are about to embark on.it's scary.but I know it will be worth it.God has this! He is going to be in control!

I have a 2nd grader, Kindergartner and preschool. The schedules overlap and, of course, there's lots on the schedule. Carpools to the rescue. Light The Night Walk is the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's evening walk and fund raising event. It is the nation's night to pay tribute and bring hope to thousands of people battling blood cancers and to commemorate loved ones lost.
