Mustard Seeds: March 2011
http://courtneywhittier.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
A journey of faith. It is certainly spring break. This week we have 150 people serving with us at Mission of Hope. That amount of people can be overwhelming at times, especially for those of us working with teams, but it’s also absolutely incredible to have so many with a passion to serve. Our dinning center is packed every meal and we have teams going in all directions during the day doing different projects. My first day at Leveque before houses were built. Mia and two of her sisters. Life as i know it.

Mustard Seeds: firsts.
http://courtneywhittier.blogspot.com/2011/05/firsts.html
A journey of faith. This past month has been an extreme amount of firsts. I guess I could say that about the last 4 months, but this last month has been extra unordinary. Most I have loved and a few I would love to never experience again. So here they are in no particular order…. We had a team bring several rockets for the kids to help build and then set off. Most kids here have heard of rockets but never seen them. The kid’s reactions were priceless. They LOVED it! Got to be a tourist in Haiti. This is ...

Mustard Seeds: summertime.
http://courtneywhittier.blogspot.com/2011/10/summertime.html
A journey of faith. It is officially the end of summer here in Haiti. School started last week. It was supposed to start the first week of September, but due to the President it was pushed back a month. When I think back to the beginning of June (and even into most of May), I remember how overwhelmed I felt. How the thought of organizing, planning and running a VBS in Haiti literally frightened me. Do you ever find it funny when you look back at yourself? The relationships that were formed during the pro...

The Waldenville Family of Four: 1/25/09 - 2/1/09
http://waldenvillefamily.blogspot.com/2009_01_25_archive.html
The Waldenville Family of Four. Baby it's cold outside! I do not enjoy cold weather. However, I do enjoy snuggling with my babies by the fire. I am so blessed to be at home with them. I think of how God gives you small moments that you will remember forever. I am thankful for every precious moment I have with them. . I have realized that in order to move forward and not be stagnant in life you need change. Wether that means taking a step back or a step forward. We all need change. We miss you guys!

Monday, March 29, 2010. So as Lent draws to an end, and we enter into Holy Week, I hope each of you will celebrate the Sacrifice and the Resurrection that laid the foundation for this upcoming Easter Sunday. Saturday, August 20, 2011. Here is a glimpse of the Sutton's newborn photo shoot. Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Arrival of Sutton James. So the Sher name will live on. Meeting the world on July 25th, 2011 at 9:52, Mr. Sutton came in weighing a flat 8 pounds. Looking remarkably like his older sister, he stole our hearts immediately. For the record, Sutton was Sooner Born and will be Sooner Bred! As all little boys should be. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Arrival of Sutton James. Follow me on Twitter.
