My Life Through My Lens: December 2012
http://blog.carlysphotography.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 21, 2012. Cars, cars everywhere. Hi, this is Dylan, guest posting. Over Thanksgiving weekend we decided to go to a large auto show at the city's convention center. I got free tickets from a jazz gig I played in, so besides parking it was free! I had a lot of fun posing in cars I'll never own=) Honestly we're pretty practical about the cars we drive, but we wouldn't mind taking something fancy for a spin around the block one of these days. Tuesday, December 18, 2012. I don’t think w...

My Life Through My Lens: May 2013
http://blog.carlysphotography.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 31, 2013. Kyton made it to Hollywood! We had a big California vacation about 2.5 years ago, so we had already hit most of the major attractions at that time. The Hollywood Bowl was one unseen destination. On the literature they advertise bringing a lunch and enjoying a picnic. I’m not really sure what they had in mind, but we sat in a box and ate in the empty bowl. Kyton had a great time running around, and we took turns chasing him. We could not miss the iconic Chinese Theater! Our transitio...

My Life Through My Lens: January 2013
http://blog.carlysphotography.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 30, 2013. He’s a monkey–and climbed out of his bed! He loves climbing anywhere he can, on the table, on the playground and Dylan’s desk. How old was your kid when you switched them out of a crib? Monday, January 28, 2013. My Kid Eats Cat Food! I’ve mentioned before that my kid eats anything and everything… even cat food. We have neighborhood cats that we feed outside. Every time Kyton goes outside the food is his first priority. Thursday, January 24, 2013. I love his face in this one!

My Life Through My Lens: Boo at the Zoo and Kyton’s Sugar High
http://blog.carlysphotography.com/2013/10/boo-at-zoo-and-kytons-sugar-high.html
Wednesday, October 30, 2013. Boo at the Zoo and Kyton’s Sugar High. With our schedules Sunday afternoon is the only significant time that we have together as a family, so we try to make the most of it. We wanted to go to a zoo but Dylan gets home around 2pm. We figured that by the time we made it to a zoo it would be almost closing time. We were excited to find a local Boo at the Zoo event. He loves attention and is very affectionate. Checking out the crocodile as batman flies overhead. This week is real...

My Life Through My Lens: March 2013
http://blog.carlysphotography.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 17, 2013. He may not be Irish, but he plays the part well. Happy Saint Patrick’s Day. I don’t think Kyton has much actual Irish in him. With the red hair and fair skin, that was burned yesterday, he looks Irish. Here are a few photos of him playing in the dirt, his favorite place to play. Thursday, March 14, 2013. We could not find our son! Kyton is a night owl, and we are getting too old (yep! After a bit of looking Dylan found him here…. Can you see him? Ever lost your kid? It seems that ...

My Life Through My Lens: February 2013
http://blog.carlysphotography.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Hello, this is Dylan guest blogging. A few weeks ago we went with our friends to Legoland! Legoland is built on the site where Cypress Gardens used to be. It is a little sad that one of the very first theme parks in Florida went out of business, but Legoland did a great job of keeping the things that made it what it was (the gardens, the waterski show, and they even had life sized Lego sculptures of the belles! We had a very enjoyable day, and really had a good time at Legol...
