Under construction. clearly- the blog, I mean). Monday, May 16, 2011. 5 months old- WHAT! This brings a tear to my eye. Look at my bubby. This sweet little bug has grown too quickly for me. He is simply PRECIOUS. He has decided to be a thumb sucker- guess he's in the right family! Greg, surprisingly, has not done anything to deter. It I think it is cute and very handy, so I, of course have not discouraged it. He never cries for long, because he can sooth himself. Perfect for #3! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Thankfully I was ready for Christmas by the end of October, so the surprise entrance of our Little Bug didn't cause too much EXTRA craziness. We had a wonderful day, Greg and I both feeling like we had already celebrated Christmas on December 17th. This is what Little Bug did while we opened gifts. Our "new family" shot. Guess why Macy is sad. And now she's happy! We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas! Ha ha so funny macy.

After 44 hours of labor and over 3 hours of pushing, Cruz Garff was born yesterday afternoon. We're sure it took so long because he wasn't done saying his goodbyes in heaven and receiving his final coaching and training from those who have come before. Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Oakley loved the cake. She liked eating it but she loved that the cake meant it was her birthday. When I was making the cake that morning she kept running around saying, "cake" and "happy birthday oakie." And of course she loved all her presents! I think the party was a success. Here is the ever-festive Trapnell Family before the ward Trunk-or-Treat. No masks were allowed, so Wolverine got to have BLUE hair. He loved it! No excuse for mom and dad. Under construction. clearly- the blog, I mean). Thursday, October 7, 2010. Tyson's First Field Trip. Tyson and his preschool class went to the pumpkin patch last week. His teacher called and asked if I would like to go with them. Now the question is: Did she call me because she was worried about taking Tyson for a walk along a busy street to the pumpkin patch, or was it because she needed another volunteer and she had already tried all the other moms/dads who didn't have 18-month olds at home?

Wednesday, May 27, 2015. On April 28th (Oakley's Birthday) our best friend/cousin Tyler came down to spend the afternoon with us. He was here for business, so we didn't get to hang out long but it was still fun. May 1st Zach and Jenny came back to buy a new van and hang out a little more. They left and the Skaggs plus Nancy took over the guest room (don't worry I washed the sheets) but only for a night. Our last visitors were Bob and Laurie and they stayed for 10 days!
