Nace en Bilbao (Vizcaya) el día 23 de Julio de 1957, en medio de un ambiente familiar de reconocidos artistas, pintores y escritores: Oscar Rochelt, Juan José Rochelt y Daniel Lecanda Goicoechea. En la Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de Bilbao. Supera los exámenes de ingreso, curso 1974-1975. Continúa la disciplina en esta escuela hasta obtener la licenciatura (título superior del centro) en el curso 1981-82. Viaja a Italia y se establece en Florencia. One of the main ideas I had when I started creating my books, was to let them be part of something bigger than me just showing my work. That’s when I decided that every book will benefit a different charity. Giving 50% of my profits seemed like a good way to make an impact. I was never expecting huge amounts of donations coming through, but a little help and a lot of awareness goes a long way for sure. October 28, 2013.
