What Would You Fight For? What We Fight For. Here Come The Irish. I love taking pictures and do so as often as I can find the time as we travel. All the pictures on this blog I have taken my self. Storm in Southern Brazil. My friends the Aspens. Sometimes really good things come after storms. Painted under an overpass in Cordoba with two small boys sleeping in front just like in the picture. Sunrise after after a storm. The Andes in the evening. Sunset in southern Chile. Storm over the Andes mountains.

What Would You Fight For? What We Fight For. Here Come The Irish. Monday, July 27, 2015. If you fight you might loose, but if you don't fight you've already lost. This quote was written by a prisoner in a book that we pass around for them to express themselves and write their names in). It was a very large prison. Here you can see the guard towers stretching across the sky. Very big rats. As if prison is not horrible enough, I can't imagine being trapped in a cell and have rats coming all around. Shatter...

What Would You Fight For? What We Fight For. Here Come The Irish. Friday, August 8, 2014. Life is defined by choices and one choice can define your life. I know it’s been forever since I wrote but yes I am still alive. We have not had any internet access for a while and have had to deal with a lot of different issues, so I just have had no time to write. Talking to the border guards. Playing soccer as the sun sank behind the port. A picture out the window as we approached the main gate. The process can t...

What Would You Fight For? What We Fight For. Here Come The Irish. Some of these pictures I sketched, some I did in photoshop and some were a combination of both. I probably know about 5% of how to use photoshop, but it is fun to create something new and I have helped design some of our cd covers, things for children and pamphlets that we give out. What Would You Fight For? What We Fight For. Here Come The Irish. Sunday, April 12, 2015. We can or we can’t. A picture from outside the fenced area where we performed. 8221; One man had just been shot in the hand and told me how painful it was. I was able to get him a sling that I sent in to him the next day. A view of the prison in the morning after the storm had broken. You can see the Andes mountains in the back. Saturday, April 4, 2015. Do you believe in "Magic"? In the middle of an ordinary day, yo...

What Would You Fight For? What We Fight For. Here Come The Irish. Tuesday, June 16, 2015. It is always easier not to….but where does easy get us? I caught this sunset out the car window on our way home from a prison in south Chile. It was probably one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. This was the little boy who was deaf. A few companies donated some toys and little. Stuffed animals that we were able to give these kids. They had a blast, I just hope the teachers don't hate me. Each prison is differ...

What Would You Fight For?: February 2015
http://whatwouldyoufightfor.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
What Would You Fight For? What We Fight For. Here Come The Irish. Thursday, February 5, 2015. A great adventure begins with the courage to take a single step. Walking on the beach with my sisters after a long day working in a prison. We were already tired from a long day of traveling when we arrived at Miami International Airport with a rented van FULL of boxes and luggage, but since we had a late flight, our day was just starting! I had already been in contact with the office that runs the prisons in Mo...

What Would You Fight For?: Now Boarding
http://whatwouldyoufightfor.blogspot.com/p/journey.html
What Would You Fight For? What We Fight For. Here Come The Irish. My greatest fear in life is the danger of a box, of only knowing four walls of habit that cage you in without escape; The danger of becoming so familiar with everything that you just float through the routine of life without ever actually living. Two of my favorite words in any language, ".Now Boarding". Why? I believe if we find the courage to care we can change our future and the future of others. We are the music makers. Yet we are the ...

What Would You Fight For?: March 2015
http://whatwouldyoufightfor.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
What Would You Fight For? What We Fight For. Here Come The Irish. Saturday, March 14, 2015. You made me laugh…and that is something I have not done in a very long time. My brothers doing a clown act where a "dog" steals a soccer ball. In this case the "dog" can do a flip. A beautiful rainbow appeared when I was performing for the crowd. Even in a wheelchair, my brother always gets out to do his part. We use a screen that we made to project video behind us and as a teaching tool. In the women's prison.
