It should be ingrained in my head that if my children are in still bed after 8:00am, there is a 99.9% certainty that they are ill. So, here we are again. The pediatrician’s office. Thursday, April 4, 2013. I find myself a little melancholy tonight and with a little soul-searching, I realize I am in mourning. Mourning the loss of my pre-pregnancy body that will never be again. Mourning a diet rich in carbs, gluten, meat, high fructose corn syrup, and processed foods. I may live longer but I’m not sure it’s worth it. Mourning the loss of my babies who have now become kids. Thursday, May 15, 2014. Katie's music teacher put together a program for grades 2-5 and we went and watched it last night. I was very impressed. Her teacher is a creative and fun lady who truly appreciates Katie's artistic talents. I just think it's amazing she pulled so many kids from different grades together to put this show on! Katie tried out for a solo part a few weeks ago. She was thrilled when she got it. She is so brave. My kids are fearless and they have taught me so much. I was like, what?
