預算考量下,決定不買新車(即使去年初,因T牌疑似暴衝等新聞沸沸揚揚,日系數款品牌皆有瘋狂折扣.),很好運的是家裡有個懂車的. 以前家中老爺買過幾部二手車,有些經驗也是個愛車男,因此這項任務他也樂得處理. 抓住幾個大重點先:. 不選有salvage title(有車禍紀錄,泡水,遭竊)的車. 條件列出篩選過後,加上預算限制,日系廠牌名列前矛,雖然較喜愛歐洲車,來到美國也考慮過試試美式大車,但基本需求必須優先考量. 加州華人多,日系車款好選擇,只是車款較沒特色與個性,只能說有捨有得. 之前提過 http:/ sfbay.craigslist.org/. 是個買賣物品的好用網站, 當然也有相當多的車子買賣資訊, 上面皆有標明是自售(owner) 或是車商(dealer). 聯絡了一些私人賣家與拜訪了幾家車商,試駕了幾部車,了解車款,討價還價,以及車商查詢信用紀錄之後,在這個私人車行買到車了! 烤全雞．煎豬排 - Meat Dishes. 近幾年有減少食用肉類,也越來越重視肉類的品質,只要食材夠新鮮夠好,海鹽與黑胡椒的簡單調味,或是些許醬油與糖來提味,煎蒸炒烤各種烹調方式都行,怎麼做怎麼好吃. 的新書剛好都有介紹數種不同風味的"烤全雞"料理,而且還提供了許多其他很棒的點子,可以多樣變化品嚐烤好的雞肉, 再也不用擔心人口少吃不完的問題. 以前就會把雞骨熬湯,雞肉撥下來煮麵炒飯等等,現在還可做三明治,沙拉,焗烤.變化多多! 在台灣大多數家庭的廚房都沒有大烤箱,在國外生活我最喜歡的就是這個廚具了,當然要好好利用囉. =) 我使用鑄鐵鍋代替烤盤,Organic全雞裡外抹上海鹽與黑胡椒,裡面加放了百里香(Thyme)與檸檬,外圍放上切大塊的根莖類蔬菜如馬鈴薯,地瓜,南瓜,洋蔥一起烤. 前45分鐘加蓋用350F來悶烤,後15 20分鐘調高至450F,開蓋烤至外皮金黃,取出放置約10分鐘即可享受. 整體口味不錯,肉嫩汁多,蔬菜鮮甜軟滑. 改善點: 雞翅忘了反折,繩子綁的不夠牢,最後應多烤5分鐘顏色更佳. 世界地球日組織成立於1970年4月22日. 感謝一群如此有心與堅持的人們,在四十年前已有如此好的概念與行動來保護地球. www.earthday.org. 以前有幸到歐洲唸書生活,看到學到的東西比書本多太多. 整個環保與綠化的觀念早已藉由教育與實際行動,深深扎根於每個人的心中. 潛移默化的影響,以及原有對健康生活的興趣,我也一步步做著以個人力量可以做的小事. 1 回收與使用可利用資源. 如大塑膠瓶我會切開當小垃圾桶,牛奶紙盒拿來種小盆栽,廣告紙空白背面當便條紙. 3 外食自備筷子,點選適量餐食,吃完不打包不浪費. 4 不購買多層包裝物品,減少垃圾量,分類廚餘. 5 盡量減少使用化學清潔劑,改用小蘇打粉,白醋,鹽巴,酒精等安全又實惠的清潔品. 7 多走路少開車 - 在美國除了住城市裡有方便的大眾交通工具,開車是必然.這點我就會更加注意. 8 購物後必將購物車推回停放的地方. 這一點我蠻受不了的,常看到停車場到處都亂放著使用後的購物車. 大家請多幫幫忙,只是幾步路幾秒鐘而已. 張貼者： Ms. Ca. 標籤： GO GREEN 環保生活. 訂閱： 張貼留言 (Atom).

水煮蛋,顧名思義:用水把蛋煮熟. 可是即使只是要煮一顆蛋,還是要燒一鍋水,雖然之後我會把水拿來洗碗還不至於浪費,但整體時間與使用器具,還是有點不符效益. 去年無意間,在網路上看到好手藝又有創意的格友們,分享如何用大同電鍋作水煮全蛋,自己實驗了第一次之後就愛上這個超簡易的好方法! 使用一張廚房紙巾,對折再對折,成一張手掌大之四方形厚紙巾,用水浸濕到滴水狀態,直接平舖在大同電鍋底部,兩顆生蛋直接放置於上,蓋子蓋上,按下開關,幾分鐘後開關跳起來就好囉! 如需一次烹煮多顆蛋,多放兩張浸濕的紙巾即可. 也有格友建議用紙巾將全蛋包起來蒸煮,這個我沒試過但相信也是個相似的好方法. 第一次用這個方法作,深怕如此簡單又短時間的做法會不熟透,因此開關跳起後十分鐘才拿出來沖冷水撥殼,沒想到整個熟透透! 看來大同電鍋悶煮與水蒸氣的熱度是相當足的,難怪煮飯那麼好吃. =). 後來試了幾次,拿捏取出的時間長短,呈現出軟硬程度不等的可口全蛋. 這圖中的糖心蛋是跳起後約兩分鐘即取出的成果,蛋白Q嫩蛋黃濃郁,滑順滿口! 搭配了拌麵與蔬菜,春天的美妙午餐～～～. 張貼者： Ms. Ca.
