March 31, 2012. I was just catching up with one of my favorite blogs, The Purl Bee. And I saw a little something exciting! You see, back when I was an intern for Denyse Schmidt I helped to make samples for a book- a book that is now published. Anyways, I spied one of the quilts that I pieced! The orange peel quilt! Appliqued on my trusty Husqvarna. Posted at 09:57 PM in craftiness. March 15, 2012. I am hoping to get some more written up soon (perhaps a bunny pattern in time for Easter? December 15, 2011.

Critchbabies: Princess Cadie
http://critchbabies.blogspot.com/2011/09/princess-cadie.html
Thursday, September 15, 2011. Today was Cadie's first dance class and I loved it so much that I'm blogging about it on all my blogs. Okay, I only have one other blog. But I know I could brag about Cadie more if I had to. The first thing they did was dress up like princess fairies. Cadie could not believe her luck. At last, she could be on the other side of the big window. And it was even so much better than Chloe's classes. For the first little while she kept running up to look at the people watching her.

Thursday, August 27, 2015. Cross Country Trip in the CAR part 1. Our epic cross country journey started with a drive to GA where Thomas got to meet Pa and YaYa. Mer practiced using the new Go Pro camera and the boys all traded around devices the whole day. A few more hours passed and we made it to St. Louis, This is as close as we got to the arch, much to the kids dismay. The day had just become too crazy to stop here and enjoy the sites. Along with other untold goofiness. We took a poll and decided that...

Thursday, November 6, 2014. Good old fashioned fun. Saturday we went to the fall fest at the boys school. They played a bunch of fun games. I just thought I'd share some pictures. Potato sack races and a pumpkin roll race. Our friend Brett came to town Sunday night for a little while. It was fun catching up with him. We always laugh at his and Dougs height difference. Which lead to a comparison of Doug and my height difference. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Want to see what I'm making?

markos mischief: The School Year Ends
http://markosmischief.blogspot.com/2015/08/the-school-year-ends.html
Sunday, August 9, 2015. The School Year Ends. We also had a fun art night at the kids school. Jack and Luke each had performances and we got to go through and find all their art projects on display. Jack's singing Rocky Top Tennessee here. They made their own guitars, it was awesome. Jacks class did a unit on the Monkey Kingdom in Sri Lanka and they made these awesome moon stones. Luke made a sweet sea turtle. The water is much clearer and bluer than the beaches near us. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Friday, October 31, 2014. Do you want to see our costumes? They were inspired by the movie Cowboys and Aliens. Doug persuaded everyone to be cowboys with him. All I had to do was sew a couple of holsters and alter a few thrift store vests. I think they all look pretty sweet. Links to this post. Thursday, October 30, 2014. We carved pumpkins tonight. Thursday's are FHE for us. Here are some action shots. Doug is growing a beard for his costume tomorrow. Everyone is going be a cowboy/cowgirl. This post was...

markos mischief: January 2015
http://markosmischief.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 31, 2015. Thomas is 5 weeks old today. We received a fun surprise package in the mail last week. It had a little taggie blanket in it made by YaYa. He uses it to stay warm on his many trips in the car driving kids to school. It is so so cute! I love it. Thank you YaYa! Also I think it's so cute the way max always puts his finger in Thomas's tiny hand so he can give it a squeeze. Thomas helps me tuck the kids in at night and the boys like it when he lays by them and gives them kisses.
