Life is full of surprises. Saturday, August 8, 2015. Grandma Barb's Visit #2. At the start of the rolling tube we had 4 kids. Grandma Barbara came to visit us for 10 days (she just left yesterday). It was a LOT of fun to have Grandma visit. We hadn't seen her in 1.5 years! One of the places we went to was a local fun farm that is literally 5-7 minutes from us. My latest quilt project that is finished and ready to sell. This week was orignially Spring Break, but b/c of the snow we have had to make up Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Life is full of surprises. Saturday, August 8, 2015. Abigail Tiek - my new neice. My younger sister, Colette had her baby August 1, 2015. She had invited me for the birth and guess what I didn't make it! She texted my mom and I when she was headed to the hospital @ 4:40am. I headed over there as fast as I could (it takes me 45 minutes to get to Duke). My sister is a champ. I watched as the doctor was getting the placenta out and stitching her up and she seemed like she wasn't in any pain. AMAZING. Hender...

Why fit in when you were born to stand out? Sunday, August 10, 2014. Where have I been? I had one week to spend time with family, then the WVB family reunion began. All of my family on my dad's side (only 100 people out of 150 people were able to attend). It included crazy fun every day. I am emotional and spiritually filled but physically exhausted.
