Friday, June 29, 2012. I'm packing up for vacation today, because tomorrow we leave for Wisconsin for a week of "sitting on a beach and reading.". We may actually do more than this, but when I asked Elizabeth what she'd like to do during the week, that was her answer. And it sounds pretty good to me. Thursday, November 29, 2012. We got some greenery from a high school band fundraiser, because we wanted to try fresh greenery instead of the fake stuff when we decorated the mantle for Christmas. What we ended up with are huge hunks of green that refuse to stay put, and the thing keeps falling off of the shelf. In between giggling and then cursing at the random pine needles embedding themselves into the floor, I noted that the greenery overtaking us and our mantle reminded me of Birnam Wood in Macbeth.

Saturday, March 2, 2013. And the Beat Goes On. Almost six weeks has passed since the Cupcake came into our lives, and during that time, her big sister, Cupcake 1.0, has joined our family, and we are getting our everyday established. This is harder than it sounds. I feel like this has alternately been the longest and the shortest six weeks, ever. It's really hard to describe. We learned to baby-proof more effectively. Sitter på tågstationen och väntar på tåget tillbaka till Norrköping efter en långhelg i Borlänge hos familjen och vännerna. Åkte till Borlänge redan i torsdags efter att jag varit iväg på hoppträning hos Cornelia Rylén som gick katastrofalt dåligt.
