To do this I must give you the back story for the reason of this blog. I am now six months pregnant with my first child. We know it is a girl, but we haven't decided anything else. The magnitude of naming a human being is enormous. I am an elementary school teacher and have seen some "real winners". I am sure you have your own examples. That is just hysterical!

My latest trip was to Japan. Where I savoured all those iconic experiences. I sped across Honshu in a bullet train, shuffled in my socks past giant Buddhas in ancient temples, bedded down on a futon at a traditional inn and, yes, pushed all the buttons on those amazing loos. I ventured to gorgeous French Polynesian. To sleep soundly in a romantic overwater bungalow and zip across Bora Bora’s famous lagoon on a jetski. I stayed in a tribal lodge and learnt to cook curry.
