Wednesday, April 29, 2009. How can I find time to create? My Ideas Board as of this morning. Friends and neighbors often ask me "How do you find time to paint? I don't know how you do all this". Mostly it just takes determination, but here a few tips I picked up along the way:. You have to be committed to keeping those appointments or rescheduling only if you have to. Tuesday, February 17, 2009. Paint Safety and Acrylic Painting Tips. Following on from my post on paint toxicity. I have a few tips for working with acrylic paint. A lot of people seem to find the fast drying time an issue, and it can be. I find drying time to be extremely unpredictable - in winter my paint dries pretty slowly but in summer it can be dry almost before the brush stroke is finished! Monday, 2 March 2009. Just Another Quick Study. OK this is an unfinished study but thought I would show this to you before adding the final touches. During the time, I was more concerned with the skin around the eye area but planning to adjust the eye when the final section is added.
