Two Poems on Breast Cancer. April 3, 2010. Carol J. Hammer. Waiting For The Verdict. No, not me, not now. My mind slips into zones where I thought it would never go. I walked 3 days and raised thousands. For the pink ribbon not knowing. I would face my own biopsy and wait for a verdict. I wanted a tattoo on my breast,. A bluebird perhaps or something.
