I came. i saw. i laughed out loud. Monday, October 27, 2014. I love Halloween. I love the colors. I love the costumes. I love the candy. Alan's mom, Mary, and his sister, Stacy, are aficionados of vintage Halloween decor. Their collections of witches, ghosts, and jack-o-lanterns are spectacular. The few vintage Halloween treasures I own were given to me by Alan's mom or his siblings (out of the 4 siblings, Alan is the ONLY one who does not love antiques - go figure). This is Meems' Second Place costume.

"I accidentally woke up early," she explained. Indeed, she did. Eleven AM is usually when Sleeping Beauty graces us with her presence. "Did you wake up because you're excited about seeing your new place? I asked hopefully. "No. I just accidentally woke up." Oh, boy. Here we go. Will you come to see me? Do they have good food? As evidenced by the phrase butt-in-the-kick, there is a struggle with language for our boy that punishes and frustrates him so much in school. This year has been spent learning how to recognize sight words, spell frequently used words and use them together to develop literacy. We know his brain works differently. We've always known this. { {Sigh} }.

We got to have a sunny outdoor lunch picnic and then class parties all around. What a LOVEly treat! A golf date with my two stud muffins was just what cupid ordered on a most magnificent Valentine's Day afternoon. I'm so happy they love me enough to bring me along. Cute little cupids before school on V-Day. And just like that the weather changed from lovely to snowy.
