Saturday, 29 June 2013. Red and yellow and pink and blue. I've been to see how those tadpoles were getting on, and saw that the poppies in amongst the oil seed rape are looking better than ever. The tadpole numbers have diminished quite a lot, but that's not surprising because there's fish, ducks and the odd swan or two sharing the same water. I didn't see any little froglets out of the water yet, but these ones have only a stub of a tail left so I don't think it will be long. Saturday, 22 June 2013.

Sunday, 7 September 2014. At the beginning of the week I went to Go Ape at Buxton with my daughter. For anyone who hasn't heard of it, it's a tree top adventure where you cross from tree to tree by different methods, go down zip wires and swing into cargo nets. We've been to the one at Sherwood Forest before, so knew what to expect, although all the courses around the country are different. Saturday, 30 July 2011. London Calling all Vintage Lovers. Well just in case anyone missed me recently; I've been working far too hard on getting ready for Vintage London on Southbank. Working hard eh - not actually a glass of wine in Mummy Butterflies hand though! Friday, 23 December 2011. It's almost here but Merry Christmas Eve Eve anyway! Seasons Greetings and all that jazz! I finally feel Chrismassy - it won't last as i have an 8 hour train journey before I meet up with the relatives and pop lots of bubbles. Might have to sneak some Babycham in my bag as I shall be a grouch after about 2 hours. The reason for my Christmas mood arriving just in the nick of time is reading some lovely blogs. Tuesday, 19 June 2012. Sun, Steam, Stress free days by the sea. All work and no play makes Claire a dull girl. and Mr Fabulous fed up of her tired grumpy face! SOOOOOO we took the train to Sherringham to see the big steam train! Mr F regressed to a 5 year old, all grins and chatting to the train driver. Here you can almost see his tail wagging! Friday, 24 June 2011. Good Ole British Weather. Well can you guess where I went yesterday? A typical glance out of the window to torrential rain. of course, it's Wimbledon. Play was rained off twice meaning we didn't get to see the gorgeous Maria Sharapova, probably best for my ego, plus my friend Al would have been a gibbering wreck! Photos from the Wimbledon Website. I'm not the most sporting person, but it was easy to get drawn into the matches. We got to see the Tsonga V. Dimitrov game which was great.
