Saturday, August 20, 2011. So much has happened this past month, I just haven't had time to update the blog. Dad, Isaac, Ruth, Anna, John Michael and I went on the boat several weekends ago. Isaac and Anna did kneeboarding, and JM actually wanted to try! We got plenty of pictures. When he actually got on the kneeboard, he was really nervous. Both Anna and Isaac had to hold onto him while Dad drove the boat as slowly as possible. It was pretty good fun! Ok Now here is the BIG news. I'M PREGNANT!

Sunday, February 26, 2012. You have slept in your own room for two nights now! If we put you to bed at 10pm, you only wake up at 2:30am and 5:30am. Also, we have tried to keep you more awake during the day so that you sleep better at night. It has worked! Uncles Aaron is showing your cool trick. You are most awake around 11am and then around 5pm. After 5, you will have catnaps but stay mostly awake until we put you to sleep. Sunday, June 17, 2012. Rolling the Other Way! First Half of June. Well I guess I will start with Memorial Day! Uncle Isaac's graduation was also at the end of May! Sunday, May 27, 2012. Peyton Tells a Story. Let's see. On May 3rd we all went to Ella's 1st birthday party! It was great fun. She actually won't be 1 until this Thursday, but they wanted to have it before Michael left on his business trip for THREE WHOLE MONTHS! I don't know how Anna does it. Wednesday, October 31, 2012. 10/6 - We all went to the Scotland Festival! We got to see the Scottish cows, sheep herding dogs, Scottish games, and listen to the music. It was cold, but fun to spend time together as a family and to experience other cultures! Peyton really enjoyed seeing all the people and new things.. 10/11 - Daddy was trying to wrap some coins, and Peyton wanted to help. 10/15 - Peyton and Daddy have matching shirts. I am so lucky to have such handsome men love me.. 10/27 - Silly hat!

Sunday, September 23, 2012. Peyton is 8 months old now! He can sit by himself wonderfully. He started to crawl on 9/1/12! I have a video of his first attempts, which is really just scooching across the floor. In about a week he was crawling like a pro! Saturday, January 28, 2012. Peyton Matthew Carpenter Has Arrived! Well Matthew and I had a pleasant surprise on January 22. Peyton was born! 6lb 11oz - 19 inches - 7:51am. He came home on Tuesday, and that's when the sleepless nights really began! We've got to try and keep up this schedule for at least the next week, because Thursday is his two week appointment where they will check him again. Tomorrow Peyton will be 1 week old! Thursday, October 27, 2011. Wedding and Trunk or Treat. Thursday morning, Aaron and Lauren were sealed! It was so wonderful, and I'm glad I was able to be there. Peyton was kicking like CRAZY throughout the sealing, which made it a bit more spiritual for me :). After they were sealed, pictures were taken! It was HOT. but we took pictures in the shade so we didn't entirely melt. Lauren was beautiful and you could tell that both of them were just so happy! We did get one picture of us - I wore the skeleton...
