Yarn Along - portable projects. When I'm going to be in the car for a while, I need knitting that does not require me to either keep my place or look at my working very often. So, another Coffee Bean it is. :) (Of course if I'm saving a project for our little trip to the seaside and then do more than half of it before we even get in the car, that's less helpful.). Martin took time off, last week - so that we could get the house sorted out and finally do some of those jobs we've been saying we'll do for ages (like sort the junk on top of the wardrobe out, and paint the inside of the fireplace, and tidy the shed). And then we both had great ideas for trips we hadn't taken for ages (FREE trips! July in an English Country Garden. So many things to see and do. And sweet tastes of stored summer sun. The light, the shade, the whole. Labels: awe and wonder. Yarn Along - a little dress. Holiday knitting: a Versa dress. In my hand dyed sparkle sock. No reading to report! London in the Summer. The day we came home, we made it to the Natural History Museum and managed to catch all the bits we missed last time. We had to re-visit some of the dinosaurs too though, of course. ;). 2 Horse chestnuts growing.
