Keeping Up with Carrie: September 2014
http://carriedawley.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 27, 2014. FREE rubber stamp from VistaPrint. I found an offer years ago for a free return address stamp from VistaPrint. They still offer the promotion! I was so relieved. I loved my stamp. It made labeling my books (yes, labeling my books) so much easier! VistaPrint allows three lines of text (name, address line 1, and address line 2). You obviously can customize the text on the stamp. I chose to use the following text:. Line 1: This book belongs to:. Line 2: Ms. Dawley. I have been ...

http://carriedawley.blogspot.com/2016/07/monday-made-it_18.html
Monday, July 18, 2016. You know what time it is. MONDAY MADE-IT. Okay, so maybe I was a bit too excited that time. But I finally put my printer to good use. Might as well. I have a free month of HP Instant Ink. So here we go. This is the first time I've made contact cards, but I think I'm going to like it. This will make sure there is no excuse. This will make it easy for parents to find my contact information and get in touch. When they need something! These bookmarks aren't quite finished yet, either&#...
Keeping Up with Carrie: Personal Development at Its Finest
http://carriedawley.blogspot.com/2016/06/personal-development-at-its-finest.html
Saturday, June 25, 2016. Personal Development at Its Finest. Have you ever sat down with a book and, every time you turned the page, thought the author was writing about you? Or better yet, speaking directly to. That's what happened with 5 Love Languages: Singles Edition. Don't judge me for my choice of reading material. At least I'm working on stuff. Haha! Gary Chapman is the author of 5 Love Languages. But I remember her telling my sister, my mother, and me about the book. Honestly, at the time, I ...

Saturday, July 23, 2016. This one was a little more difficult to admit to reading. I mean, I read 5 Love Languages Singles Edition. Not long ago, and I was ashamed at first to admit to purchasing it. Then later, I was so glad I did and wanted to share it with the world! You can read about it { HERE. The book I just read is by the same author, Gary Chapman, and he does reference those love languages in part in this book. This one is When Sorry Isn't Enough. Here's the little blurb on the back:. Even in th...

https://ladyliteracy-sixthgrade.blogspot.com/2016/07/classroom-rocking-chair-monday-made-it.html
Stories of a First Year 6th Grade Teacher. Monday, July 18, 2016. Classroom Rocking Chair - Monday Made It! Back for another Monday Made It through 4th Grade Frolics. I have always admired the creativity teachers can bring to old and run-down rocking chairs. I've wanted one for my classroom to try it out myself! I went on to OfferUp (this is an app that functions like craigslist, but it makes me feel a little more safe! I found a BEAUTIFUL rocking chair and to be honest, I didn't want to paint it! Aside ...

CarrieD Away With Politics. RE: Government Through the Looking Glass: Eliminating the Electoral College. My classmate, Erin, had this. To say. Here is what I think:. I aslo believe that if the internet and the numerous amounts of instantaneous news outlets were around in the past, there would have been a countless number of Presidents examined under the microscope for their moral judgement. I mean, we've all heard the JFK and Marilyn Monroe rumors, right? My classmate, Andrea, had this. We are the 99%.

Carried Away with Vintage Gourmet
Carried Away with Vintage Gourmet. Welcome to my adventures in the "Modern" kitchen! Monday, June 26, 2017. Meatloaf. its what's for dinner! Today's fridge finds = tonight's dinner! Carrie wrote this, age 10. Love this cookbook, thank you GKG! A very traditional version from the 50s. For serving, you can try something fancy like a drizzle of tomato sauce (aka catsup) or a sprig of mint, but don’t try too hard – it’s meatloaf : not pretty, but pretty darn tasty. Meatloaf version 2.0. 1 lb ground turkey.
