Monday, March 28, 2011. First Day of Spring. I wanted to take some photos of the kids outside on the first day of Spring. Here are my beautfiul babies. Boys and Their Cars. Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Guinny took it upon himself to shower Eliza with kisses (truth betold I think Eliza spit up and Guinness was looking for a snack.gross I know! She loved the doggie love! After church, we had a egg hunt and enjoyed our baskets outside in the sunshine. Nice photo opp too! My family came over for Easter dinner and we enjoyed that time together. Monday, May 30, 2011. Okay, so I'm being dramatic but next year, we will definitely wait until Memorial Day for a swim. We have lived in our house since 2002 and our backyard has been a real dilemma. It's really large (3/4 of an acre) but it's pie shaped with our house sitting in one side corner and it's really woodsy. We have so much poison ivy that it's not even funny! So little by little, John and I have been trying to tame the wildness. We made a lot of headway this Spring. Check it out.

Tuesday, June 26, 2012. We buried him in his favorite spot in the yard. It's a spot where the sun always shines despite the trees. Murphy loved that spot and we always referred to it as his "living room". We ended up making a patio there so we could sit and remember him. Pictures below. I know this post is very sad and hard to read and so I want to end it with some of my fond memories or silly Murphy quirks. He loved Pizza.he loved it before he ever tasted it. He loved ice cubes. He loved little girls.

Monday, August 13, 2012. Lazy 5 Ranch for our lil' Cowboy's Birthday. Charlie's third birthday fell on a weekday so his party would wait until the weekend. However, we did mark the occasion by taking the Howland posse to the Lazy 5 Ranch. It's a wonderful local ranch of many acres housing exotic animals such as zebras, rhinos, giraffes, buffalo, ostrich, emus, llamas, camels, and more!
