I always look strangers in their eyes and smile or nod, say hello, whatever. It's not uncommon for me to strike up a conversation with a stranger at the grocery store. I have cancer but it does not have me! Monday, November 29, 2010. Coming up on a year of remission. December 9th will be my one year anniversary of remission! So much to be thankful for and to celebrate. I grew so much during my battle with cancer. However, I am sad to report that I have gone backwards with some of my growth. I need to remind myself daily to enjoy THAT moment. It really is harder than it seems. Here is what I know.I feel great! My hair is coming back darker, thicker and curly!
