Real Life: February 2011
http://carriepearson.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Real Life - Random thoughts of a crazed mother of five. Tuesday, February 01, 2011. I am still mad at the marathon for rejecting me and the Marathon Muthas. However, Eric did get in since he is considered a veteran - he has run more than 6 or 7. So even though I think they are bunch of dumb heads, we "celebrated" around here. Oh yeah - and we got to cheer on Eric at mile 7. Can't forget that. Whole group waiting to cheer on Brett. 65279; . 65279; . Then Eric came by our little mile 7.

Real Life - Random thoughts of a crazed mother of five. Tuesday, October 04, 2011. Homecoming - Take 2. Homecoming for Tomball High School was a little more interesting for the Pearson house this year. Kelsey was nominated for Junior Homecoming Duchess. Then she won! I guess I can be glad she had her shirt on! She looked beautiful, and I will find some pictures to post. I do have a picture of her going to her "unhomecoming" dinner and movie. She looked beautiful. It was fun for all of us to live vicariou...
Real Life: September 2011

Real Life - Random thoughts of a crazed mother of five. Tuesday, September 27, 2011. We Have an Issue With Birthday Cakes Around Here. Once upon a time, Ryan had a birthday. I made him a chocolate cake with HOMEMADE frosting. I put it in the fridge to cool since it involved melted chocolate. We were going to Chili's for dinner, and on the way out the door I noticed chocolate crumbs ALL OVER the floor by the fridge where his cake was cooling. I opened the door, and this is what I saw. Moral of the story?

Real Life - Random thoughts of a crazed mother of five. Monday, May 30, 2011. I have been wanting to run a 5K as a family - everyone is old enough to do it now, and I thought it would be a fun tradition to start. I knew we needed to train with Caroline, but I knew she could do it. All pics from Eric's cell phone. Not too bad for a cell. This one was Kelsey's idea - Eric was too cool to put his chip on his shoe, he left it on his bib. Nice Eric. After the race - it was hot and humid, but we did it! It was...

Unhistoric Acts: France Lyon

For the growing good of the world is partly dependent on unhistoric acts; and that things are not so ill with you and me as they might have been, is half owing to the number who lived faithfully a hidden life, and rest in unvisited tombs." - George Eliot, Middlemarch. Sunday, August 12, 2007. QUIRKY IN THE MOST D. I have been really blessed in my life with really interesting friends. When describing my most unique and enjoyable friends (and my children), I will usually say, he/she is quirky in the most delightful way. Such is the case with my dear friend,. I took this photo of Joan this weekend in San Clemente. I think she would like being lit with this golden light. She deserves a Vermeer approach to her portrait. She will likely never read this tribute but the goodw...

Next year, I'm pushing that we go someplace warm and tropical over spring break. It seems that the people that have been here for awhile traveled this week. I never really felt the need to travel on spring break in Houston, good grief, why would I? On another note entirely. Confessions of a Redhead. Laugh at yourself first, before anyone else can. -Elsa Maxwell. Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Yesterday, Hope spilled some water on the floor. I asked Hayden to grab me a towel (he was upstairs in his room, right by a linen closet) and throw it down. He called down, "Hold on Mom I'm cleaning my room! Why was there a frog in there in the first place? Hungry Mom. If I don't eat now, I'm going to turn into a bad guy! Hunter and Hannah went back to Houston for 8-9 days this summer. ...

He established the earth upon its foundations,. So that it will not totter forever and ever. You covered it with the deep as with a garment;. Where t...
