The Carey Family 5: September 2010
http://thecareyfamily5.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
The Carey Family 5. Wednesday, September 1, 2010. First Day of Kindergarten. Today was Levi's first day of Kindergarten. He made sure I didn't get too serious about it by making these delightfully angelic faces. Doesn't he know how hard that is on a mom? I just shook my head and smiled. No, I don't have pictures of his first day in his classroom but I will always have the memory of a confident little man who was ready to take on life. First Day of School. Two happy boys off to school without a hitch.

The Carey Family 5. Wednesday, June 16, 2010. How is he not crying? I looked at Levi and his toe and asked what happened and he told me "I was riding in my flip flops". And he did have his helmet on after all! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Kids' Life: I'm a Little Cuckoo Clock
http://elissahamon.blogspot.com/2013/02/im-little-cuckoo-clock.html
Friday, February 08, 2013. I'm a Little Cuckoo Clock. I love when the kids come home singing or reciting things they've learned at school. Here's Millie's new song. Make sure you're paying attention - girl shuts me down when I try to cheer "Yay" for her as she usually does! Apparently it was not the time. Posted by The Hamons. At 2/08/2013 02:06:00 PM. The Carey Family 5. Wednesday, March 17, 2010. I have a kid who reminds me of me! Today when I looked out my kitchen window this is what I saw. I took my camera outside to find Levi and David playing a game of catch with the basketball. I never really envisioned a game of catch like this but why not? It looks like fun. I gotta say.I LOVE IT! The Kids' Life: Not To Be Forgotten
http://elissahamon.blogspot.com/2013/02/not-to-be-forgotten.html
Wednesday, February 06, 2013. Not To Be Forgotten. And, naturally, they are things a bit difficult to capture in word. But, well, for posterity's sake I suppose, I'll give it a try! She declares this several times a day following an attempt at, well, doing something! Whenever she needs help, she asks for it by saying, every time, "I need help you up this." Not sure where that exact phrasing came from, but hey, it beats whining and crying! Often she'll request to watch "Legos" which is actually Diego!

The Kids' Life: December 2011

Saturday, December 24, 2011. A Giving Spirit, part 2. As I've mentioned before, it is so important to us that Sean and I do what we can to instill the same perspectives and similar experiences for our children. Especially this time of year. One of the many many reasons Evan and I spent Friday at The Salvation Army to help out with their Christmas toy and food distributions. So, off he went to help lug the big black bags of toys to their new owners! Most of the pictures are blurry, but they'll do! The oth...
