I can't believe it's almost the end of March and we will be in April soon. April means Easter! Wednesday, May 22, 2013. I turned 28 weeks this past Saturday, which means I am officially in the 3rd Trimester! I can't believe how fast time is going by. We are getting so close to the end and will be able to hold our little girl soon! We are really excited! People have been so generous in giving us clothes and toys and many other things we will need for our baby. I am thinking she might not be able to wear all the clothes we have for her! I want her to stay in much longer. She kicks all the time!

Thursday, November 14, 2013. Our cousin Laura was so kind and did our Family photos for us this year. I was loving all the pretty colors in the trees and wanted some pictures before all the leaves fell off and the snow started coming in! So a few Saturdays ago she met us at the park near our apartment and took some photos of us. Lyla wasn't too excited about it, but luckily we were able to get some taken before she got too upset :). Tuesday, October 8, 2013. Lyla turned 2 months old yesterday! Seriously, time is flying by and I can't keep up! September was a pretty exciting month. Of course we had her blessing as you saw in the last post. Also, every year now Chris and I get to celebrate our Anniversary and my Birthday one day after the other. :). Our Anniversary is on the 17th. That morning when I woke up, I walked out to the kitchen and Chris had left me a lovely surprise! For dinner I made Chris's favorite meal, Chicken Carbanara!

Saturday, April 20, 2013. Well the baby is now the size of a Cantaloupe! I just keep getting bigger and bigger everyday, and my wardrobe is getting smaller and smaller. :). I have definitely been experiencing the common symptoms at this time, including lower back pain, swelling, I get out of breath very easily, and lots of heartburn and indigestion. Wednesday, August 21, 2013. No, I am not talking about the ACTUAL "After Birth". :) Just what happened at the hospital after Lyla made her appearance. The doctor got me all cleaned up and stitched up since I got a 2nd degree tear. Then we all got to fight over who got to hold her. :) I finally got to eat after 21 hours of not eating anything. Sunday, February 2, 2014. 2013 was a great year for us! Chris had surgery to remove his tonsils and fix his deviated septum, he also had a root canal done, and I had a Basal Cell Carcinoma spot removed on my neck. We also had our sweet Lyla! Lots of medical procedures done, but thanks to awesome insurance from Chris's job, it saved us thousands and thousands of dollars. :). But being pregnant this summer, it was so difficult to even get out of bed some days. Haha. Lyla will be 6 months old on Friday!

Saturday, March 23, 2013. Half Baked: 20 Weeks! Well, today I turned 20 weeks! Our little peanut is halfway done cooking and I can't believe it! It feels like time is flying by. I have been feeling a whole lot better, pretty much no morning sickness, and a lot more energy. I actually went to the gym last night and worked out!
