Monday, March 31, 2008. So, first off, Virginia is a blight-stricken state that I never want to drive through again. Between random state highways with poor lights and bad signs which added several hours to Gail and my's journey going to Raleigh, and due to a flat tire caused by a major highway obstacle I chose to run over rather than cause an accident, several hours coming back. Sunday, August 26, 2007. What I don't miss about London. The blandness of a ton of their other foods. The vastly inflated prices and exchange rate. The cramped time frame – paper, books, research, work, tourism. Drunk and soap-opera dramatized flatmates. Having to take my laptop to work b/c of a lack of computers. It was cold and wet. The entire summer. I was still wearing jackets in mid-July. Not having enough time to make good friends. I felt rather lonely. Missing all of my friends in the states.
