Wednesday, February 13, 2013. Try, Try Again. Reese is bound and determined to sing the National Anthem at a Chicago Fire soccer game. Last year she submitted a video audition and heard back late in the season. They said that they had filled all of the spots but encouraged her to try again. Tuesday, September 4, 2012. Talan's First Day of School. Talan started his second year of preschool at Grace United. He loves school so he was very excited about his first day. Saturday, January 5, 2013. After weeks of anticipation, it finally snowed today! One minute we had nothing, the next it was dumping, and about 20 minutes later it was gone again. When I saw it start I called for Talan and we quickly suited him up so that he could go play in it (Reese wasn't home). That's when we realized that he will need new snow pants this year. Friday, December 28, 2012. I took the kids skating this afternoon. It was Talan's first time on skates. I think he did pretty darn good! Initially I went with the Fischer Price skates that go on top of shoes. They barely moved so we quickly switched over to the real thing. I held his hand and walked him around the rink for a while and then ended up renting him a "trainer" which worked out really great. Thursday, December 27, 2012. Tuesday, February 26, 2013. Talan and I went out yesterday without coats. It was above 40 for some of the day. Not so much today. Just went out to play in the snow and clear the driveway. Friday, April 13, 2012. After Reese's birthday party she attended a friend's party. When she finally got home and we were all together again we were rushed to get eggs decorated in preparation for the following day, Easter Sunday. Wednesday, February 13, 2013. I definitely see the similarities! It could almost be the same person in both photos. When I showed it to Talan and asked who it was his answer was "Julia". Well, I guess since people say that Reese and Talan look alike and when Talan and Julia are together that they look alike.it makes sense that Reese and Julia would look alike, right?
