Our Family Here on Earth. Thursday, August 26, 2010. First Day of School. Isaac and Spencer waiting for the bus. Jacob and Matalyn waiting for the bus. Jacob's first day of 1st grade. Elite 8 for the Radical Reading Rockstars. This is such a great group of girls. They worked hard reading and re-reading the books and spending lunch recesses preparing. Our school librarian really spent a lot of time helping them prepare. They set a school record for how far they got. As a side note, the school that barely beat them charges $30,000 a year for tuition. Way to represent public schools! Battle of the Books. Blue and Gold Dinner. Here is the speech that he gave:. I’m glad to be able to talk to you today so you can vote for me for class representative. Why should you vote for me? I'm not sure where he got the "folks" part from. He was funny, because he first wrote "if I get elected" and then he said, "No, I should say WHEN.". I mean seriously, he brings his homework every Friday, why not vote for him? He made this awesome poster with these funny faces he is always drawing. Even dead guys vote for Luke"-Dead guy. I first started law school feeling very intimidated, scared, and anxious, because at orientation I felt like everyone was smarter than I am and I was out of my league. My sister came in town for her birthday and we had a fabulous girl weekend making lip gloss, soap, lotion, going to movies, and more! Wednesday, November 26, 2008. I actually went running three times within the past week! I am so out of shape and my body is telling me I'm too old to run. My muscles are surviving, but my knees and my feet are killing me. What happened to my young body that could handle excercise? It is now hanging up in my closet doorway so I can see it all the time.
