Mind, Body, and Being. Feet: Well Grounded and Down to Earth. May 26th, 2008. Isn’t it odd how we pay so little attention to such an important part of our foundation? I am of course talking about our feet. They support us everyday and are the part of us most directly connected to the earth, yet we usually give them little heed. And reduces our perception of the wealth of tactile information from our soles. According to recent news, including this New York Magazine article. Lots of shoe cushioning results...

Friday, March 21, 2008. Don Pila Responde. How to name it?: To GPRS or not to GPRS ?
http://rganeshprasath.blogspot.com/2007/04/to-gprs-or-not-to-gprs_30.html
How to name it? Monday, April 30, 2007. To GPRS or not to GPRS? Again, its been a long time. This time I was surprising myself with some downloaded mobile applications. Iam using these applications for a while and they are really attractive and sometimes addictive. One of the application is a Voice over GPRS application. It connects to GTALK and its able to establish VOIP sessions. It also can connect to Skype,SIP and other VOIP applications. Interesting. And since we are so addicted to our cell phones, ...

I wander as I wonder: Myth of the independent church
http://bripatmc.blogspot.com/2008/01/myth-of-independent-church.html
I wander as I wonder. Myth of the independent church. I have heard quite a bit lately about dependency, and how the worst thing that can happen in missions is creating a dependent church. I wonder where this comes from? I see the scriptures about the body of Christ, and understand that to be universal. The foot needs the eye and so on. Is it possible that this applies to the church universal? Maybe the church in poor areas needs the church in wealthier areas to function. Why is this a bad thing?

Sunday, October 21, 2007. Jaipur - The Pink City. I fly out tonight at midnight, so I won't be posting again until I wrap this up when I'm back in Tennessee. Hope you have enjoyed. Oh, my goodness. After a terribly long drive back from Agra last night, I woke at 3:30am this morning to prepare for my flight to Jaipur. I think I snored on the plane. :-). From there, we spent the. Jaipur is unlike Bangalore, Mysore, Delhi, or Agra. Jaipur has HILLS! The fort was beautiful, including a lovely temple fully-de...

Why The PLCB Should Be Abolished: Reason #5: For Us, Okay; For You, Forget It
http://noplcb.blogspot.com/2008/05/reason-5-two-faced-crap-artists.html
Why The PLCB Should Be Abolished. Reasons why the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board should be abolished, and The Almighty Liquor Code completely overhauled and rewritten, to reflect over 80 years of change since Repeal. Monday, May 12, 2008. Reason #5: For Us, Okay; For You, Forget It. How the PLCB has a personality split. One side of the agency wants to. You booze (gotta make money at the State Store! The other side wants to. How much you buy and how you drink it. Brilliant idea for a state agency.

Being here now: It smells like spring (or earthworms)
http://crabbylami.blogspot.com/2007/03/it-smells-like-spring-or-earthworms.html
The journey's the thing. It smells like spring (or earthworms). It smells like spring now and people are smiling once again. Of course, it could be snatched away from us overnight.we could have an Easter snowstorm. Isn't that a cynical, un-spring like thought? We do have it in our power to let it go.to run outside with a nine year old's enthusiasm for the upcoming baseball season; or to sniff the air and smell the promise of summer. This one's for you, Casey.go out and smell the lake! Start of a new era.
