Why Strength and Song? Saturday, 21 February 2015. Books of 2015: A vague reading plan for the next year. As I mentioned in my previous post, Haley's Reading Plan at Carrots for Michaelmas. Inspired me. Not to want to read more, because I love reading and always want to do more of it, but to have a think about what. I am reading in order to have a reading focus. I discovered that although I adore fiction reading, I don't do that much of it unless it's for a specific reason e.g. Series. But I know the...

Finding joy through my faith, family, and the natural world. Saturday, July 4, 2015. And if I ever doubt this, I need only to recall my climb up Uncompahgre many years ago. July 4, 1997. July 5, 2015 at 11:10 AM. What a beautiful reflection! July 6, 2015 at 2:23 PM. Forme...

Finding joy through my faith, family, and the natural world. Tuesday, April 21, 2015. Not that he has always been this way. He used to have no fear of any medical professional or facility. However, that was the pre-tonsillectomy Joah. After experiencing the trauma of a very painful surgery last year (you can read about that drama here. It's easy to overlook the little milestones in our children's lives that show that they are growing up not only on the outside, but also on the inside. The pants that ...

Kitchen Sink Included: Compare and contrast
http://kitchensinkinc.blogspot.com/2013/10/compare-and-contrast.html
Ramblings regarding anything and everything in my life.possibly including the kitchen sink. And with that title, you know I'm going to talk about my two oldest boys, because really, how could two people with the same two parents possibly be as completely opposite as these two are? I remain stunned and amazed. Half an hour later we were sitting at dinner when Brynning suddenly looked up from his nachos and said "Non-existence is so hard to think about." And quietly went back to eating. This made me laugh.

Hobbit-ish Thoughts and Ramblings. Sunday, December 29, 2013. Sunday Night Chit Chat: Christmas Recap. First and foremost, isn't this the sweetest little angel you've ever seen? She was the teeny tiniest angel at our congregation's Sunday School pageant. And she did pretty good too, at least she didn't stretch out on the floor in front of the manger or anything. I hope you all had a very merry Christmas! Ginny with 'Madeline Taylor'. Eating a chocolate marshmallow snowman. At 7:30 in the morning. ick).

http://thegreenworldfamily.blogspot.com/2013/10/baby-3-30-weeks.html
Tuesday, October 29, 2013. Baby # 3: 30 Weeks. I've also been swelling quite a bit already. The swelling and the extra weight together have landed me with prenatal carpal tunnel. For the things we expect to need (or hope to have). Otherwise, I've just been working on finding new homes for all of the baby girl stuff that I've been. November 2, 2013 at 12:23 AM. My Journey Towards New Li...
