Saturday, September 12, 2009. Last week while daddy was off for Labor Day we visited the zoo. We rode the train. Something we only do when daddy is around so it was a special treat. We fed the goats. Saturday, April 2, 2011. Where has the time gone. In case there is anyone out there who still reads our blog, I guess it's time for an update. I keep thinking there will be a point when Carson quits changing so much, but I haven't hit that point yet. Here are some of our favorite things he is doing:. Running to his room, coming back to tell us "i'll be right back" then going back to his room. Singing songs with us at night. his favorite seems to be twinkle, twinkle. Wonder where he got that from :) ).

19 April, 2013. Books sit piled on the floor, because we still haven’t bought book shelves. My sewing machine is finally in place, but I need an iron and board to finish the set up. I throw the new. Comforter over the new. Mattress that sits on the new. Bed frame that Carson built with his new. Saw New is in the trees and it’s filling our lives as we begin to fill in the empty spaces. spaces that we emptied out in Tanzania, our belongings with pieces of ourselves right alongside. But you and me walk on.

The amazing adventures of carson and kellen. Tuesday, July 21, 2015. We have a surgery date. Carson's surgery is scheduled for Friday, September 18th. He will have a swallow study done the day before and then a 7-10 day hospital stay after the surgery. The reconstructive surgery itself will be 7-8 hours long! I am already praying for all the details of the trip, there are too many to even name and I'm sure alot I don't even know! Thank you all for your prayers! But nothing was said about ice cream ; ).
