So I found a Single Speed on Craigslist and it is perfect, an ORANGE Ibis, with a 32x18 so I can spin my legs and not hurt my knee. No lockout on the fork but I will live for now, it was $300 and ready to ride so it was a hell of a deal. Wednesday, September 10, 2008. Sunday 7th September- SPR Hills ride. All was good until we got to the base of Greenmount and Luke had decided that he had ridden far enough before work and turned around. A few hills later we lost a few of the women, then the crash. A few of the guys in front of me went down, the crash was happening in slow-motion and it was like…is this really happening?
