CFI was incorporated in 1989. It was started at the present location where a 600 head feedlot had been abandoned in the early 80's. The initial partners were Wendell Volkens, Aaron Vorthmann, and Jeff Clausen. . We value these relationships and view them and synergetic to our operation. Our hope is that one day the next generation of cattle feeders will find the place better than what we started with.
