I’m hearing of all these other moms who planted evidence of the leprechaun’s late night escapades, sprinkling green glitter, hiding gold chocolate coins, setting leprechaun traps, green pancakes. I am feeling pretty badly so I think our naughty leprechaun might make an appearance tonight, he’s a bit delayed by Santa’s sleigh, wait, no that’s not right either! How Old is Carson?

Saturday, October 09, 2010. Pieces of the Pie. I have been struggling lately with finding a balance and hate the feeling that comes with not being able to do it all, and do it all well. As a dear friend once explained to me, I am simply a pie. And a pie can only be cut into so many pieces. My pie used to just be a couple of huge, yummy slices, work and Jeremy. Each year, I've squeezed more and more out of my pie. And in the end, there just isn't always enough to go around. My carpet needs to be vacuumed.

Of course it makes a difference being almost 1 1/2 years old already. My parents went and we also met Sara, Joey and Addison there. Family picture on the golden bear. We had an amazing family vacation driving to San Diego, the American Girl Store in the Grove, and Disneyland. My parents met us in Disneyland and then flew home.
