MILES TO GO BEFORE I SLEEP: Bella Bicicletta - How I built my Ciocc San Cristobal
http://randobryan.blogspot.com/2012/11/bella-bicicletta-how-i-built-my-ciocc.html
MILES TO GO BEFORE I SLEEP. Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Bella Bicicletta - How I built my Ciocc San Cristobal. I've been eyeing classic Italian steel bikes for awhile now. Always on the lookout for a Bianchi, a De Rosa, a Pinarello, a Colnago. I hadn't even heard of Ciocc until my friend Todd mentioned that he had one in his basement. I told him I might be interested and a few days later he introduced me to this lovely early eighties frame and fork. To build the wheels. I ordered a San Marco Regal sad...

MILES TO GO BEFORE I SLEEP: November 2012
http://randobryan.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
MILES TO GO BEFORE I SLEEP. Wednesday, November 14, 2012. As soon as I read about the 2nd Annual Coffeeneuring Challenge. I knew I had to give this a try. 7 different coffee shop rides in 6 weeks? Thata's my kinda challenge! I wanted to avoid going to Starbucks, and since my usual days off are Sundays and Tuesdays I needed to find local coffee shops that weren't closed on Sundays. I enjoyed finding a couple of new coffee spots, as well as hitting some of my usual places. Day#2: It's A Grind. At 105 S....

http://rogersroadrash.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
The adventures of a middle aged guy as he takes on Planet Triathlon! Friday, November 22, 2013. Singing The Off Season Blues! Oh yeah, I got the off-season blues! Beach 2 Battleship was almost a month ago and I seem to be becoming a big fat slob! I'm sure my weight has probably pushed back up somewhere towards 200 lbs, but thankfully I haven't been stupid enough to look! On the plus side, it has given me the chance to rest my knee for a while and I've enjoyed a little more red wine in the evenings! Of th...

http://rogersroadrash.blogspot.com/2013/12/oh-so-thats-why-im-tired.html
The adventures of a middle aged guy as he takes on Planet Triathlon! Wednesday, December 4, 2013. Oh, so THAT'S why I'm tired! So I was looking at Training Peaks (www.trainingpeaks.com) today to check out options for recording food intake (yes folks, I'm serious about getting back down to "racing weight") and just for fun I went to the dashboard and checked out my year-to-date training totals. Bike: 2,340 miles. Swim: 146,611 yards (or 83.3 miles). Otherwise it's pretty close! December 5, 2013 at 2:19 AM.

RogersRoadRash: I Have a Cunning Plan!
http://rogersroadrash.blogspot.com/2014/01/i-have-cunning-plan.html
The adventures of a middle aged guy as he takes on Planet Triathlon! Friday, January 17, 2014. I Have a Cunning Plan! It has been a while since I have posted. Things have been very busy with work, the Holidays and generally crazy "life stuff"! I'll admit that after Beach-to-Battleship 70.3 I got pretty lazy. What started as "take it easy for a few weeks" became "do hardly anything at all in November and December"! No, that's not me! There, I said it. have I lost my freakin' mind? 1 Quite simply, I couldn...
