My journey, my thoughts. Tuesday, May 20, 2008. Dalton is 5 Today. It is crazy to think that 5 years ago today, Mike and I became parents. Dalton was born 4 weeks early and nearly 10 pounds.yes the dates were correct! Now I need to take some pictures of the kids playing on it! So anyway today Dalton is 5. Where does the time go? Anyway, Grace decided to wake up at 4am this morning so I am up. This is going to be a LONG day. Mike usually gets up at 4:30 for work anyway so I at least got to see him off. Ok so my brain isn't functioning too well right now so that is all I am going to write. Grace is a Bat Princess and Dalton is Speed Racer* *. 3) I wear size 12 now!

I'm doing good with the weight loss, and it makes me feel great. I think I am really going to do it for good this time. So my weekend has been a good one! Hope yours was too! He no longer gets the label "Momma's boy" around here, he has at last discovered the amazing entity that is Daddy! While he still clings to me as much as he can, he now is Daddy's little boy! If Daddy's in the room, he reaches for him. If Daddy leaves the room he either cries for him or follows hot on his heels! I don't think so! Ahhhhhhhhhh.life is good.

I want to get there. Friday, August 04, 2006. Love - The cry of a generation. Just back from a wake, with a real heavy heart. She was all but 33 (not very much older than I am). Died of drug overdose aka committed suicide which stemmed from depression. Has been alternating between serving terms and the mental institutions. She left behind 3 children, 1 of whom is in my class. Her children (age 15 and 12 - twin boys) were from different marriages. Did they deserve not to have a complete, happy family?
