Local amenities - Casa Xerragua. In the village (plus fresh fish restaurant in summer). Covered hard play area in the village. Small store near the car park - La Vieya del Alba. Supermarket El Río in Rioseco (4km). Full range of shops in (Pola de) Laviana (15km). Hypermarket in El Entrego (23 km). The Alcampo hypermarket is in the Centro Commercial Valle del Nalón, large signs are visible from the AS17 road between Rioseco and (Pola) de Laviana. Find these places on a map. How to get there.

Where we are - Casa Xerragua. Casa Xerragúa is in the village of Soto de Agues. Where people gain a living from livestock farming and tourism. In fact there are three villages here - Soto, San Andrés and Agues. There are three bar-restaurants. And a trout restaurant in the summer (fish your own! Bus and train - Casa Xerragua. Run buses between Oviedo and London (26 hours), Paris and Brussels amongst others;. Run buses from London to Oviedo via Paris. From Oviedo you can take a bus to (Pola) de Laviana, see. Or take a FEVE train to (Pola de) Laviana - see. From (Pola de) Laviana, a taxi to Soto de Agues costs 17 euros:. The house - Casa Xerragua. The house was originally built as a barn, or maybe two barns, around 1880, and converted to a house in 1993. It was lived in intermittently until bought by Robert and Petra in 2008. It sleeps 6, additional people may be accommodated in the attic by arrangement. The accommodation consists of:. 3 bedrooms 2 twin rooms, 1 double room. 2 bathrooms (one with large sink, bidet and toilet only). Sitting room/dining area with fireplace. Storeroom with bicycles for your use.
