But seeing is ...Day 7: 3 ...

What skiing's all about: Should have brought my skis
http://whatskiingsallabout.blogspot.com/2007/08/should-have-brought-my-skis.html
What skiing's all about. The ongoing quest to find out what it is and isn't about. Friday, August 10, 2007. Should have brought my skis. There is still snow left in NY state. My brother, nephews and I found a snow patch today, big enough to make at least two turns on. Crazy. Kam would love it I guess. I would update with a photo, but there is no way to get pics off the camera right now. I'm astonished I can even get online - someone around here has an unsecured wireless broadband network.

Where it all began. Reference My Blog: CASCADE POET. Lean against me forest. On this windy evening. When the sun swallows the horizon. Gulps in the day. Don’t let me feel the cold. Even when cold slips onto my bones. And the moon surrenders her light. I will be here. So pull up your sleeves shadow. On this silent evening. When the stars harness their hunger. Suckle in the night. Don’t let me fear the loneliness. Even if moments are like the watery brook. I will be here. So rise up to greet me meadow.
