October 22nd saw the prayerful peaceful resistance at Standing Rock facing the worst mass arrests of the campaign. It has been surreal not knowing if my comrades are among the arrested, but ultimately, everyone at Standing Rock is my comrade. A militarized police department descended upon my friends and comrades at Standing Rock and I was brought low by guilt and shame. The land made for me and you.
