Friday, August 17, 2012. Jayden went in for a physical on Tuesday because he needed his last round of shots before Kindergarten. The appointment took a good 1 1/2 hours by the time we got out of there. Our new family doctor is very thorough and went through his entire medical history with me. So today we took Jayden in to the clinic and had the x-rays done. We probably won't hear from the doctor until Monday sometime. We're praying that there isn't a big difference in his legs. Friday, June 29, 2012. Mike and I rode 10.4 miles on our bikes last night. Loved it. Except for the fact that my butt felt like it got beat with a cement 2 x 4. Bicycle butt.ain't it great? Jayden needs a haircut badly. It's scheduled for tomorrow morning. Devin has not been lost at the pool anymore. Joseph, Dalton, and Devin all go to the club during the week. They love it there. Friday, December 2, 2011. Whatever is going on around here sure is catchy! I have heard of so many people who are sick with the stomach flu, but that it's really fast moving. I have to agree. It comes on so fast you have about 30 minutes warning. Seriously. And it's gone about 12 hours later. Jayden was sick Tuesday. Shawndra was sick last night. Mike got it in the middle of the night and now Joseph just came home from school after getting sick. Thursday, December 1, 2011. Christmas concert and sickness.

Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Joe Mauer warming up. The view from our seats. We were on the 1st level in the 11th row. They were great seats. It was windy, cold, and rainy. Good thing the girls brought blankets to keep warm! Target Field is really cool. All the seats are decent. It's wide open and you can see the buildings of downtown. Definitely a neat experience. Us waiting out the rain delay. Finally untarping the field. Lots of hard working men. And here we are before the concert. We all had so much fun!

Sunday, June 24, 2012. The nasty, disgusting bug that pinched Shawndra last night, while sitting INSIDE on the couch. I had never seen one of these, but after quite the conversation on Facebook, I learned it is an earwig. And what a disgusting bug it is. Two pincher things on the butt. They're fairly fast.
