Love Cup: Kidney Stone Birth Story
http://caseydycus.blogspot.com/2011/11/kidney-stone-birth-story.html
Tuesday, November 22, 2011. Kidney Stone Birth Story. Last week I gave birth to a rather large kidney stone. Not large enough to have blasted, but large enough to cause me to feel like I was going to die! I woke up last Tuesday morning feeling nauseated and sick to my stomach. I did my best to get the girls ready for school and to get myself ready to go to run an errand. Grady had to take the girls and well, I ran my errand and left a nice surprise for them in the the bathroom:(. I mean like eight pen po...

Love Cup: April 2011
http://caseydycus.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 14, 2011. I told Grady something needs to change. My schedule is so monotonous and I don't always thrive when that's the case. I've always like sponetanaity and change! Getting to see them learn new things each day is my favorite par of this job. And I really wouldn't trade these for anything. My hormones have just won as of late and I'm trying to take back heart and mind. I sense God is challenging me to embrace him and life in ways I have never done. I want that. Ideally do! My plan is ...

Wednesday, December 14, 2011. Big, Strong, and Healfy. Evie: "Skittles make me big, strong, and healfy, Mommy! Emmaline was in the 68th percentile at her 2 month check up! Go little Em and Em! She is the biggest of all my babes. And hand me down clothing from the sistas is a little on the small side. She is fitting in 3 to 6 month clothing. Eden can crawl out of her crib. Tonight it was a two hour battle getting her to stay in her room. Ugh! Wednesday, December 7, 2011. How to do it? She was asking me to...

A Day in the Life Of...: December 2012
http://annaphillips.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
A Day in the Life Of. Thursday, December 27, 2012. Christmas 2012.come and gone. In the blink of an eye, another Christmas has gone by. As much as I was not looking forward to the holidays this year, God definitely worked on my heart and I changed my attitude just in time. I got just a few stares inside the ghetto Rivergate Toys R Us since we were so dressed up! Sunday, we headed to Opryland Hotel for our 2nd annual overnight stay with the kids. They were so excited! Lots of fun presents and laughter!
A Day in the Life Of...: Take me out to the ballgame...
http://annaphillips.blogspot.com/2015/05/take-me-out-to-ballgame.html
A Day in the Life Of. Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Take me out to the ballgame. Just a quick post to brag on my little buddy. He got his very first homerun at his game the other night! It was a LEGIT homerun too! He hit it HARD into the outfield and ran every base and slid into Home plate. It was precious! He has a lot of humility, so he acted like it wasn't a big deal, but we were so proud of him. Dennis had to hold back the tears for sure. Such a proud moment for all of us! View my complete profile.
A Day in the Life Of...: June 2014
http://annaphillips.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
A Day in the Life Of. Tuesday, June 10, 2014. I have been worse than HORRIBLE at updating this blog. Honestly, since I've gotten out of the habit, I forget its even here! I'm not even sure when my last update was, so for now, I will just start with the highlights over the last few months. Sawyer graduated from Kindergarten! He far exceeded our expectations on how we thought he would do being so young in Kindergarten. He did so amazing! So, so proud of her! Especially since she is also considered "young" ...

A Day in the Life Of. Friday, May 24, 2013. The End of an Era. Today marked the end of an era in the life of the Phillips Family. Sadie finished Kindergarten and Sawyer finished Pre-K. Sigh. It was H-A-R-D on my heart. Its funny because I remember just a short 9 months ago, I cried for weeks leading up to Kindergarten. I was so sad to see my baby girl heading off to school. It was so, so hard, and I even admit that I cried for several weeks AFTER she started because I missed her so much! They all chose a...

A Day in the Life Of. Saturday, August 31, 2013. Where have I been, you ask? Well, school has begun so I remain on the run.at. all. times. Whew! I am tired just thinking about it! The kids' first day(s) of school were wonderful! They both got the teachers that we wanted, so they were both very excited to begin! Travis and Anita decided last minute to send Cole to Goodpasture, so he and Sawyer were able to get the same teacher, thanks to a call to Mrs. Farley (who was my sis' 3rd grade teacher)! I am expe...

A Day in the Life Of. Sunday, January 4, 2015. I am certain that 2015 is going to be fabulous! I just have a feeling! This will be a quick post. We loaded up and headed to the farm to celebrate New Years. We went with Daren and Rachel, their girls, their neighbors (the Wards) and their 2 girls. The Jacksons came down for the day on Tuesday. We had a wonderful couple of days! We had to clean EVERYTHING! We looked up some home remedies and discovered that mice don't like the smell of mint and they don't li...
A Day in the Life Of...: September 2013
http://annaphillips.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
A Day in the Life Of. Monday, September 23, 2013. Oh what a wonderful last few weeks we have had in the Phillips' household! With all of that being said, about 2 weeks ago, we began to be blown away. Long story short.(and I mean, LOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNGGGGGG) God has allowed Dennis to get a pay increase, along with a new, improved bonus structure, while continuing to do the same job that he was already doing! Never give up hope. Never. God can do FAR beyond ANYTHING we can ask or imagine! Oh, the thought!

A Day in the Life Of. Thursday, August 14, 2014. Back to School.blah, blah, blah. Summer came and went.and went WAY too fast. We had a GREAT, great, great Summer, but oh how it hurts my heart when it is time for the kids to go back to school. A lot of people go through a sort of depression after Christmas, a big vacation, or after the wedding is over, etc. Sadie and I literally sat in her bed in the dark tonight and cried. How sad is that? I think she was just crying because I was crying, but good grief!

A Day in the Life Of. Sunday, November 17, 2013. I haven't had much time to blog lately. I have been doing a lot of cleaning and a whole lot of substitute teaching! It has left me little time for doing things like this. But, I wouldn't trade it for anything AND I love, love, love getting to be at school with my kiddos! I honestly would do it every day if I could. Fortunately, we were able to pull together a last minute trip to Hilton Head this year. It was such a blessing! We were SO excited! I have to a...
