Friday, February 26, 2010. 2nd Graders, Spelling Bee, Band Concert and Writing in PE. We had a lot going on this week. Our band put on their concert for festival and they (and the choir) did a great job of entertaining us. We also competed in the county spelling bee where our seventh grade team took 4th place and eighth grade took 3rd. I can use data to find the mean, median and mode. I can summarize and paraphrase what I read by putting it in my own words. New scholarships are in the guidance office!

Friday, June 4, 2010. Track Headed to State, Winter/Spring Athletic Awards, and 6,7,8 grade Hello/Goodbye Dance. The second thing I did was give all the students my cell phone number so they could have access to me and could text me whenever they know something I should but don't want to come tell me or just have a question. As some of you already know, I have accepted a position as superintendent for Rudyard Area Schools. This was not an easy decision. I love it here in Cassopolis. I have stated in the past and truly believe that the teachers and staff at our building, and indeed in our district, are some of the most hard-working, kid-oriented, achievement-driven professionals it has ever been my privilege to work with.
